Stanley Yorker – Account Director, Matlock Advertising & Public Relations, Atlanta, GA

Stanley Yorker is a consummate advertising professional with years of experience on a wide range of clients and across various product and service categories. As an  Account Director, Stanley has senior client management responsibilities on the BMW North America, Publix Supermarkets, Nationwide Insurance accounts and he also contributes to Matlock new business acquisition efforts.

Prior to joining Matlock, Yorker was a partner in The Symmetry Group, a marketing communications and event management firm whose clients included the 100 Black Men of Atlanta, Russell Athletic and Bank of America. Previous to that Yorker headed his own shop for several years as a founding-principal of nomenudum, ltd., an Atlanta-based urban and multicultural advertising agency.  The agency did creative and strategic project work on clients such as the Coca-Cola Company, the Georgia Department of Industry Trade & Tourism, Earthlink, Lugz Apparel, Levi Strauss, Allied Domecq, the UniverSoul Circus and others.

Before founding nomenudum, Stanley was with Burrell Communications Group in a number of capacities from Account Executive to Creative Director. At Burrell, his experience included extensive time on several brands within the Coca-Cola Company portfolio. For years, he led the creative development on the Coke Classic and Sprite creative teams as they produced a highly acclaimed series of commercials utilizing R&B and hip-hop artists. Yorker also worked on McDonald’s, Bell Atlantic and several other clients.

He began his advertising career in New York with NW Ayer on the U.S. Army account and also had a stint with Saatchi & Saatchi on the McNeil Consumer Products brand Tylenol and Luden’s Cough Drops.

Stanley is a graduate of The University of Florida with a Bachelor’s degree in Advertising.
